Landmarks around Varna

Varna is a city with over two millennia of history and one of the most beautiful coasts of the Black Sea. From the Grand Hotel London, in the very center, most of the city's sights are within walking distance, and the most interesting places in the region are up to an hour's drive away.

In the city

In the center you will find the Cathedral of the Assumption, the Roman Baths, the Archaeological Museum with the Varna Golden Treasure and the Sea Garden, which descends to the beach. All this is a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

Out of town

A short distance from Varna are Pobiti Kamani, the rock Aladzha Monastery and the Golden Sands Nature Park, and a little further away are Pliska, the first capital of Bulgaria, the Madara Horseman and Cape Kaliakra.
